Built between the 1850s and the 1900s, Ranelagh is Victorian redbrick under steep Welsh slate. Many terraces off Elmwood Avenue, Oakley Road, Charleston Road and Sandford Road still have their original roofs.
The terraces are two and three storeys over basement, with valleys between houses, parapet gutters on many fronts and tall multi-pot chimney stacks. Off Ranelagh Road and Chelmsford Road there are smaller single and two-storey cottages with simple slate roofs. Many houses have a two-storey return at the back, and many have had attic conversions with dormers and roof windows cut into the slate.
Every job starts with a free survey of the roof and a clear price from Jordan.
Jordan looks at the whole roof, from above with a drone where it helps, so the price is based on what is actually there.
A written price before any work starts. If hidden damage turns up, Jordan shows you and prices it before going further.
Fully qualified roofers, proper materials, and the site left clean when the job is done.
Delta Roofing also works in Rathmines and Donnybrook on either side.
